Objectives
This strategy forum was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play a fundamental role in co-designing the future of Fiji's water infrastructure — setting the direction, priorities, and initiatives for the sector with the aim of creating lasting, positive change for the Fijian people. Given the significance of the work, the utmost respect and care went into shaping the digital graphic scribe created to support it. The two-day forum was tightly packed with presentations, assignments, and 200+ participants, with a digital format being chosen as the most suitable medium. It avoided the need to transport physical equipment overseas to Fiji, required minimal space within the forum setting, and opened up far greater opportunities for colour and creative experimentation.

Outcome
The strategy forum was a great success, resulting in five foundational pillars critical to the future of Fiji's water sector, alongside 80 innovative ideas and 10 actionable recommendations developed for both immediate and long-term implementation. The graphic scribe itself was also highly praised — the Fijian water authority client printed it out and proudly displayed it in their office, a strong signal of how much value they placed on the piece.
Off the back of this success, the client invited TwoCollaborate back to run three further customer forums a few months later, which led to the creation of a second digital scribe. This follow-up piece continued the nautical theme to maintain a familiar and cohesive look and feel, with the background reimagined as a river to reflect the more local, community-scale nature of those later workshops.
