Interactive Pitch Presentation
A choose-your-own-adventure pitch pack to secure millions of dollars worth of investment

The pitch presentation's hub slide outlining the eight key technologies needed for the transition to a renewable energy grid.
Objectives
UNSW’s Digital Grid Futures Institute (DGFI) needed a clearer way to communicate what a digital grid is, the technologies driving the energy transition, and how they were equipped to lead this transformation. Traditional presentations were falling short in engaging a wide range of audiences — from the general public, government officials, investors and university leadership - and their existing design assets were in major need of a refresh.

Outcome
I conducted a focused two-hour workshop with DGFI’s leadership to extract the core messages, structure, and visual tone of the presentation. Using creativity-driven activities, the team aligned on key content and presentation flow.
Following this, a visual prototype was iteratively developed and transformed into a sleek, interactive PowerPoint presentation, complete with high-quality renders, animations, and a ‘choose-your-own-adventure’ hyperlink system to adapt the narrative in real time. The interactive format enabled presenters to:
Pivot seamlessly based on audience needs.
Shift between high-level concepts to deep technical detail without losing engagement
Align stakeholders and stimulate meaningful dialogue
Boost interest and memory retention
The final result exceeded expectations, becoming a key communication tool for trade shows, conferences, and investment pitches.
